It could almost be said that Zelda’s legacy may become that of a killer handheld franchise rather than a legend on the consoles, as The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between World’s seemingly proves. By returning to the top down perspective (but with a serious graphic overhaul) we get a nice nostalgic infusion with a game that pays tribute to A Link to the Past, which is arguably the greatest Zelda title ever. That game was fun then, and this game is fun now. Period.

The makers of LittleBigPlanet bring us a fun, imaginative game that is so charming in its paper craft style, you’d think it belonged on the 3DS. The Vita brings us a great 3D platformer that delivers with not just unique visuals, but fun factor as well. You’ll find yourself having as much fun with this on the Vita as you would with more of the well-know franchises available. Give it a try; you won’t regret it.
