Dragon Quest Heroes 2 Bonus characters

Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character:

    Lazarel: He can be selected at the start or after the audience at Zebion. Since Lazarel is one of the most flexible characters in the game, it is recommended to select global skills instead of restricting him to a single role.

    Teresa: She can be selected at the start or after the audience at Zebion. It is recommended to not restrict her to a single role and select global skills to take advantage of her flexibility.

    Desdemona: She will automatically join you after you reach Zebion. She is a little slow with attack speed, but she is a great pusher.

    Torneko: He will automatically join you after you reach Zebion. He is a traveling merchant with a range of weapons at his disposal. He also has healing skills, debuff removal, and untargetability.

    Maribel: She will join you during the Battle Of Gyaird “What! What’s Up!” quest. She has spells and some long-range attacks from her boomerang. She can also lower enemies’ defense and make them flinch.

    Ruff: He will join you during the Battle Of Gyaird “What! What’s Up!” quest. He has self-sustain, powerful CC, and call his wolves to deal a massive amount of damage to enemies.

    Cesar: He will join you during the Battle Of Gyaird “What! What’s Up!” quest. He can imbue his weapon with different elemental-attacks in additional to a lot of spells and many CC skills.

    Terry: Successfully complete the “Terry & Carver” boss fight in the Magical Forest to acquire him. He is arguably one of the best characters when it comes to dealing raw damage. He has self-sustain skills and devastating attacks.

    Carver: Successfully complete the “Terry & Carver” boss fight in the Magical Forest to acquire him. Similar to Terry, Carver has self-sustain and can boost his attack/defense to take on the toughest enemies in the game.

    Meena: She will automatically join you after the “Saber In The Truth” quest. She is a weak healer but makes up for it by being a capable character with status ailments. Her spells allow her to lower enemies’ defense and deal increased damage to them.

    Maya: Successfully complete the Cretia dungeon to acquire her. When using Maya, you need someone tanky to peel for her. She has a lot of spells but goes down easily due to lack of self-sustain.

    Jessica: She will automatically join you at the Sacred Mountain Regen. She not only has powerful CC from Crack, Spark Shot, and Decelerate but also has the healing ability to reflect enemy spells.

    Angelo: He will automatically join you at the Sacred Mountain Regen. He is primarily a long-range character who can temporarily increase his attack damage and party’s tension.

    Alena: She will automatically join you at the Great Canyon Battle. She has high critical hit chances, the ability to increase party’s tension, CC, and high attack damage.

    Kiryl: Successfully complete the Grand Canyon Battle “Rescue The Queen!” quest to acquire him. He is a great support character. He has healing spells, ability to revive, CC, and boosts.

Successfully complete one of the following tasks to get a trophy:

    Glory Hunter (Platinum): Awarded for successfully acquiring every trophy.
    Bounty Hunter (Gold): Awarded for defeating every marked monster at least once.
    Monster Mugger (Gold): Awarded for obtaining every kind of item monsters drop.
    Avid Accessoriser (Silver): Awarded for obtaining every single accessory.
    Beastmaster (Silver): Awarded for recruiting every single species of monster minion.
    Dunquestin (Silver): Awarded for completing every quest.
    Greedy for Ingredients (Silver): Awarded for obtaining every available ingredient.
    Quit Your Medallin’! (Silver): Awarded for delivering 150 mini medals to Maxi Malone.
    Trovehound (Silver): Awarded for opening every chest in every wild zone.
    Variety Clubber (Silver): Awarded for defeating every single species of monster.
    Well-Armed (Silver): Awarded for obtaining every single weapon.
    Well-Protected (Silver): Awarded for obtaining every single orb.
    All That Glitters (Bronze): Awarded for gathering ingredients from sparkly spots 300 times.
    All-Round Animal (Bronze): Awarded for reaching a proficiency level of 15 or higher with any weapon.
    Bully Basher (Bronze): Awarded for rescuing 15 people from monster attack.
    Come Rain or Shine (Bronze): Awarded for experiencing every type of weather in every wild zone.
    Comfortable (Bronze): Awarded for collecting a total of 300,000 gold coins.
    Crème de la Combo (Bronze): Awarded for stringing together a combo of 350 hits or more.
    Dimensional Drifter (Bronze): Awarded for successfully clearing your first dimensional dungeon.
    Jack of Alltrades (Bronze): Awarded for training your hero to level 20 or above in every available vocation.
    Level-May-Care (Bronze): Awarded for training every single character to level 40 or above.
    Life and Soul (Bronze): Awarded for learning every party power.
    No Zoomstone Unturned (Bronze): Awarded for attuning yourself to every Zoomstone.
    Nun Better (Bronze): Awarded for obtaining the maximum number of Healstones and maximising their power.
    Party Animal (Bronze): Awarded for earning the maximum number of party power points.
    Serial Summoner (Bronze): Awarded for summoning 150 monster minions.
    Top Swapper (Bronze): Awarded for making 30 trades at the swap shop.
    Tous les Coups (Bronze): Awarded for activating every party member’s coup de grâce.
    Trader’s Pet (Bronze): Awarded for maximising the capacity of your monster medal holder.

Additionally, there are secret trophies:

    A Prophecy Fulfilled (Gold): Awarded for fulfilling the prophecy.
    All Puffed Out (Silver): Awarded for…closing your eyes in front of every single ally.
    King Klanger (Silver): Awarded for defeating a metal king slime.
    Peace at Last (Silver): Awarded for attending the peace celebrations in Accordia.
    Way of the Warrior (Silver): Awarded for obtaining the warrior’s ring.
    A Right Royal Mix-Up (Bronze): Awarded for attending the Queen of Ingenia’s hearing in Accordia.
    Accessory All Areas (Bronze): Awarded for making every single available improvement to an accessory.
    An Expert Eye (Bronze): Awarded for having a rare item appraised by the armourer.
    Head Banger (Bronze): Awarded for unceremoniously bumping your head on the ceiling.
    Liquid Licker (Bronze): Awarded for defeating a liquid metal slime.
    Metalworker (Bronze): Awarded for defeating a metal slime.
    The Proud Prince (Bronze): Awarded for showing Cesar the error of his ways and convincing him to join the party.
    Winning Beginnings (Bronze): Awarded for defeating the night clubber and saving Harba.
    With a Little Help (Bronze): Awarded for unleashing 100 Tag Tricks.
