Snatcher Strategy Guide

ACT 1: Snatch
Junker HQ:
The game begins in the lobby of the Konami Omni Building, Junker HQ. Hit ENTER for the TALK command to appear. Select TALK for a close up shot of Mika to appear. Select ASK to make the ENTER command appear. Use ENTER.

First, go to the CHIEF’S OFFICE. ASK the first five questions to obtain your ID CARD and CASH.

EXIT the room, then go to the ENGINEERING ROOM. ASK Mika questions, then EXIT.

Go to the DETECTIVE’S OFFICE. LOOK around the room, then EXIT.

Go to the COMPUTER ROOM. ASK about the computer and how to use it. Try to USE JORDAN if you’d like. EXIT.

Go to the SHOOTING RANGE. PRACTICE, then EXIT.

Go back to the ENGINEERING ROOM. ASK Harry ABOUT NAVIGATORS and ABOUT BLASTERS. INVESTIGATE METAL GEAR. ASK about METAL GEAR until Gibson calls.

ENTER TURBOCYCLE. Go to FACTORY RUINS and EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Factory Ruins:
LOOK and INVESTIGATE everything until there is a scream. ENTER the factory. ADVANCE. LOOK, then INVESTIGATE LITTLE JOHN. INVESTIGATE MEMORY CHIP. ADVANCE, then ADVANCE again. LOOK at the BODY. INVESTIGATE GIBSON and his CLOTHING. LOOK at the KEY. INVESTIGATE GIBSON’s CLOTHING again. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the PAPER. INVESTIGATE GIBSON’s CORPSE. INVESTIGATE GIBSON’s CORPSE, RIGHT HAND. INVESTIGATE HAIR. INVESTIGATE SKIN SAMPLE. INVESTIGATE GIBSON’s CORPSE again. INVESTIGATE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS. ADVANCE.

LOOK FRONT, then RETREAT. MOVE and RETREAT. MOVE and RETREAT again. LOOK at LITTLE JOHN. MOVE, then RETREAT.

There will now be a shooting scene. Use the appropriate button to draw the blaster and the appropriate button to fire. After the fight, select EXIT.


Junker HQ:
When you return to Junker Headquarters, MOVE to the DETECTIVE’S ROOM.

LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the NEAR DESK. INVESTIGATE the DESK DRAWER. Select POSSESSIONS, then USE, and KEY. INVESTIGATE the DISK and the CAPSULE. LOOK at the DISK and the CAPSULE. INVESTIGATE the LOCKER. INVESTIGATE the COAT. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the CHESS PIECE.

MOVE to the ENGINEERING ROOM. LOOK at HARRY. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the BRANDY BOTTLE. USE METAL GEAR’s VIDEOPHONE. CALL 39-5644.

MOVE to the FRONT. MOVE to the TURBOCYCLE. Go to ALTON PLAZA and EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Alton Plaza:
LOOK, INVESTIGATE, and use the other commands until Napoleon shows up. Select POSSESSIONS, the SHOW, then ID. Use all the TALK options and ASK Napoleon all the questions. ASK about BUFFALO CUISINE RESTAURANT. Select POSSESSIONS, then USE, then CASH. ASK about BUFFALO CUISINE RESTAURANT. ASK about OUTER HEAVEN. ASK ABOUT OUTER HEAVEN. ASK about OUTER HEAVEN’S LOCATION. Select POSSESSIONS, then USE, then CASH. ASK about OUTER HEAVEN’S LOCATION. ASK about PLATO’S CAVERN. ASK ABOUT PLATO’S CAVERN. ASK about PLATO’S CAVERN LOCATION. SEND NAPOLEON HOME.

USE METAL GEAR’s VIDEOPHONE. CALL 69-1170. ASK about the LOCATION, then HANG UP.

ENTER TURBOCYCLE, go to PLATO’S CAVERN, then EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Plato’s Cavern:
MOVE and ENTER STORE. LOOK at the WALL. LOOK at the MASK. BUY either MASK.

EXIT the store. MOVE and ENTER TURBOCYCLE. Go to GILLIAN’S APARTMENT and EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Gillian’s apartment:
MOVE, ENTER APARTMENT. LOOK around. Find the picture and get Jamie’s number off it (39-3444).

MOVE to the BATHROOM and use the equipment to hear lots of sounds and bad jokes.

When you are done, go back to the Turbocycle. Go to GIBSON’S HOUSE and EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Gibson’s house:
INVESTIGATE the HOUSE. KNOCK on the door. TALK. Select POSSESSIONS, then SHOW, then ID. When asked, ANSWER QUESTION about GIBSON’S AGE. The answer is 55. Then ANSWER QUESTION about KATRINA. The answers are BIRTHMARK, HEART, and THIGH. Once in the house, MOVE to the STUDY.

LOOK at everything. LOOK at the DESK, then LOOK at the BOTTLE and the PICTURE. INVESTIGATE the BOTTLE and the PICTURE. INVESTIGATE the COMPUTER. Select POSSESSIONS, then USE, then DISK.

You will end up in the back yard. LOOK and INVESTIGATE everything, then RETURN to the STUDY.

MOVE to the LIVING ROOM. MOVE and EXIT the house. ENTER TURBOCYCLE and go to OUTER HEAVEN.


Outer Heaven:
EXIT TURBOCYCLE. Select POSSESSIONS, then USE, and MASK. MOVE, GO INSIDE Outer Heaven.

LOOK at everything, then CALL DANCER. ASK about GIBSON. Select POSSESSIONS, then SHOW, then PHOTO, then GIBSON. Again select POSSESSIONS, then SHOW, then PHOTO, then GIBSON. ASK about GIBSON. ASK ABOUT THAT MAN. ASK ABOUT THAT MAN, and get MAN’S DESCRIPTION. Find out about the FACE SHAPE, EYES, NOSE, MOUTH, HAIR and AGE. Then, CHANGE SUBJECT. FINISH QUESTIONING.

EXIT the restaurant, then MOVE and ENTER TURBOCYCLE. Go to JUNKER HEADQUARTERS and EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Junker HQ:
MOVE to the COMPUTER ROOM.

USE JORDAN to CREATE MONTAGE. Select Shape #3, Eyes #6, Nose #1, Mouth #3, Hair #2. Then SCAN DATABASE. Now MOVE to the FRONT.

MOVE and ENTER TURBOCYCLE. Go to IVAN’S APARTMENT and EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Ivan’s apartment:
LOOK at everything, then ASK about IVAN RODRIGUEZ. Select POSSESSIONS, then SHOW, then PHOTO, then MONTAGE. ASK about IVAN RODRIGUEZ.

MOVE to ROOM 301. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE at everything, including the METER. KNOCK at the door twice. TALK twice. The door will open. Quickly shoot Ivan.

LOOK and INVESTIGATE everything. INTERROGATE Ivan four times. LOOK and INVESTIGATE until you move to the bathroom.

Then LOOK at everything and INVESTIGATE everything. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the PLASTIC BAG.

You will go back outside. ENTER TURBOCYCLE. Go to FREDDY’S APARTMENT and EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Freddy’s apartment:
MOVE to ROOM 202. LOOK and INVESTIGATE everything until motion is detected. Then KNOCK until the door is answered. TALK twice and you will be let in.

LOOK and INVESTIGATE everything. TALK three times. Select POSSESSIONS, then SHOW, then PHOTO, then MONTAGE. Continue to LOOK and INVESTIGATE until you get into the bathroom.

LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. LOOK at the SHELF. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the BOTTLE.

There will be a shooting scene. LOOK and EXAMINE until you go back outside. INVESTIGATE the DOOR. INVESTIGATE the LOCK. INVESTIGATE the POSSIBLE EXITS. OPEN DOOR.

LOOK and INVESTIGATE until motion is detected. MOVE and ENTER BATHROOM. This will bring Act 1 to a close.


ACT 2: Cure
Junker HQ:
When the act begins, MOVE to the ENGINEERING ROOM. After speaking to Harry, MOVE to the COMPUTER ROOM.

USE METAL GEAR’s VIDEOPHONE and call Napoleon at 39-5644. After calling, MOVE to the FRONT.

MOVE and ENTER TURBOCYCLE. Go to ALTON PLAZA and EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Alton Plaza:
LOOK at the AREA. LOOK at SANTA. INVESTIGATE SANTA. ASK Napoleon about the HOSPITAL. Select POSSESSIONS, then SHOW, then VIDEO MEMORY, then LITTLE JOHN. ASK about OLEEN. Select POSSESSIONS, then USE, then CASH. ASK about OLEEN again. ASK about OLEEN HOSPITAL. Select POSSESSIONS, then USE, then CASH. ASK about OLEEN HOSPITAL again. ASK about SNOW 9, about NAPOLEON, and about ILLICIT HOSPITALS until Napoleon leaves.

Use METAL GEAR’s VIDEOPHONE and call 39-3444. Then call 39-1009. Select POSSESSIONS, then SHOW, then VIDEO MEMORY, then LITTLE JOHN. TALK and ASK about everything, then hang up.

ENTER TURBOCYCLE and go to OLEEN HOSPITAL.


Oleen Hospital:
EXIT TURBOCYCLE.

LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. SMELL the area. MOVE and GO INSIDE the hospital. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. ASK about SNATCHERS, HOSPITAL’S SPECIALTY, and the DOCTOR three times each. Continue to LOOK and INVESTIGATE until you leave the hospital.

At this point you will get a call.

Now go to GIBSON’S HOUSE, then EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Gibson’s house:
LOOK at everything, then INVESTIGATE the DOOR. MOVE and GO INSIDE.

INVESTIGATE the WINDOW, SHELF, and MODEL. LOOK at the MODEL. MOVE to the STUDY.

LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. CALL for KATRINA.

MOVE to the BACK YARD. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. CALL for KATRINA and ALICE.

RETURN to the STUDY. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. CALL for KATRINA and ALICE.

MOVE to the LIVING ROOM. CALL for KATRINA and ALICE.

MOVE to the STUDY. LOOK and INVESTIGATE until Alice appears.

Now go to JUNKER HQ. EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Junker HQ:
MOVE to the CHIEF’S OFFICE. ASK about the INVESTIGATIVE PROCEDURE.

MOVE to the FRONT. MOVE and ENTER TURBOCYCLE.

Go to ALTON PLAZA and EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Alton Plaza:
LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything twice. SEARCH five times.

ENTER TURBOCYCLE. Go to GILLIAN’S APARTMENT and EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Gillian’s apartment:
INVESTIGATE the DOOR. MOVE and GO INSIDE.

LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. LISTEN and SMELL.

MOVE and ENTER BATHROOM. LOOK around the room. INVESTIGATE the SHOWER four times. OPEN the BOOTH. ASK about the VIDEOPHONE CALL. INVESTIGATE the LIST twice. Enter the name QUEENS. INVESTIGATE the LIST and the HOSPITAL LIST.

You will go to the Turbocycle. Go to QUEEN’S HOSPITAL.


Queen’s Hospital:
EXIT TURBOCYCLE. INVESTIGATE the BUILDING and DOOR. MOVE and GO INSIDE.

INVESTIGATE the RECEPTION DESK and SWITCHES. LOOK at the AREA and DOORS. USE SWITCHES to open all three doors. MOVE to DOOR 1.

LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. LOOK AROUND. EXIT the room.

MOVE to DOOR 2. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. EXIT the room.

MOVE to DOOR 3. USE METAL GEAR and TURN ON LIGHT. INVESTIGATE the DRAWER, PICTURE, VASE, MATCHES, and the upper-left corner of the room. EXIT the room.

MOVE and GO OUTSIDE. USE METAL GEAR’s VIDEOPHONE. CALL 39-5644.

ENTER TURBOCYCLE. Go to OUTER HEAVEN.


Outer Heaven:
EXIT TURBOCYCLE.

TALK twice. INTERROGATE twice. GIVE PROOF six times until you go inside.

ASK about BACKGROUND twice. Select POSSESSIONS, then SHOW, then PATIENT RECORD. ASK the MEANING OF CODE. Select INFER. Enter BENSON.

You will go to the Turbocycle. Go to JUNKER HQ. EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Junker HQ:
MOVE to the ENGINEERING ROOM. LOOK at the DESKTOP. INVESTIGATE the MATCHES and MEMO. LOOK at the MATCHES and MEMO.

MOVE to the CHIEF’S OFFICE. LOOK at the PICTURE twice. INVESTIGATE the PICTURE twice. INVESTIGATE the PHOTO.

MOVE to the FRONT. ASK Mika all the questions.

MOVE and ENTER TURBOCYCLE. You will get a videophone call. Go to QUEEN’S HOSPITAL.

Try to PULL LEVER, JUMP OUT, and GIVE UP twice. Then PRESS BUTTON, DRIVE INTO SANDPILE, HIT CLIFF, and JUMP OUT, then repeat the sequence. PRAY TO GOD and HIT CONTROL PANEL.

You will shortly arrive at QUEEN’S HOSPITAL.


Queen’s Hospital:
MOVE and GO INSIDE. MOVE to DOOR 3. USE METAL GEAR and TURN ON LIGHT. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the VASE. The door will open.

LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything, then DESCEND STAIRS.

INVESTIGATE the RECEPTION DESK. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the SWITCHES. USE SWITCH 1 and SWITCH 2.

MOVE to DOOR 1. LOOK OVER the room. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. EXIT the room.

MOVE to DOOR 2. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. EXIT the room.

MOVE back to DOOR 1. LOOK OVER the ROOM. There will be a two shooting sequences. EXIT the room.

INVESTIGATE the SWITCHES three times. USE SWITCHES. Use switch 1 and 2 AT THE SAME TIME.

MOVE to DOOR 3. INVESTIGATE the BODY. INVESTIGATE the TIME OF DEATH. LOOK at everything. INVESTIGATE the DUCT. INVESTIGATE the CAUSE OF DEATH. INVESTIGATE IDENTITY. RECONSTRUCT CORPSE.

When you appear in the duct, USE METAL GEAR and TURN ON LIGHT. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything until ADVANCE appears. Select ADVANCE.

There will be a shooting scene.

LOOK at everything, TALK, and LISTEN twice until you escape the duct. When you appear, MOVE to the LIVING ROOM. LOOK at the MAP. MOVE and EXIT. LOOK at the AREA. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the TAXI.

MOVE and RIDE IN TAXI. TELL DESTINATION three times and prepare for a shooting sequence.


Junker HQ:
When you get to Junker Headquarters, LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything. INVESTIGATE the SHUTTER. LOOK at the BOOTH. INVESTIGATE the BOOTH. OPEN SHUTTER and then you will go to the hallway.

MOVE to the CHIEF’S OFFICE. LOOK and SEARCH everything.

MOVE to the DETECTIVE’S ROOM and LOOK.

MOVE to the ENGINEERING ROOM and LOOK.

MOVE to the SHOOTING RANGE and LOOK.

MOVE to the COMPUTER ROOM and LOOK.

MOVE to the HALLWAY.

Now MOVE to the CHIEF’S OFFICE again. LOOK at the DESK. LOOK at the STAIN ON DESK. INVESTIGATE the STAIN ON DESK. SEARCH the CEILING.

There will be a shooting sequence.

Now MOVE to the HALLWAY and LOOK.

MOVE to the ENGINEERING ROOM and SEARCH for BLOOD STAIN.

MOVE to the DETECTIVE’S ROOM and SEARCH for BLOOD STAIN.

MOVE to the SHOOTING RANGE and SEARCH for BLOOD STAIN.

MOVE to the COMPUTER ROOM and SEARCH for BLOOD STAIN.

MOVE to the CHIEF’S OFFICE and SEARCH for BLOOD STAIN.

MOVE to the HALLWAY. MOVE to the FRONT.

There will be a shooting scene. You need to hit your opponent four times to bring Act 2 to a close.


ACT 3: Junk
The act opens with a series of questions. The answers are:

ULTRAVIOLET RAYS
UNDERPASS
SNEEZE
SNOW 9
MOSCOW

When you have a chance, ENTER TURBOCYCLE. Go to CHURCH and EXIT TURBOCYCLE.


Church:
LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the BUILDING and AREA. GO INSIDE.

LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the PORTRAIT. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the AREA. CONTINUE BACK. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything, including the SNATCHERS, AREA, and CONTAINERS. CONTINUE BACK. LOOK at the CYLINDER. LOOK at the SNATCH PROCESS. LOOK at and INVESTIGATE everything.

LOOK at and INVESTIGATE the DOOR to progress to the next area.

There will be two shooting scenes.

From here, the game will be brought to its conclusion.
