Daytona USA Music select
Select any course and difficulty. Select a transmission, then immediately hold one of the following buttons to choose the corresponding song:
- “Let’s Go Away” (Advanced “Dinosaur Canyon” music): Hold [VR Camera 2].
- “Pounding Pavement” (Alternate Beginner “Three Seven Speedway” music): Hold [VR Camera 4].
- “Sky High” (Expert “Seaside Street Galaxy” music): Hold [VR Camera 3].
- “The King Of Speed” (Beginner “Three Seven Speedway” music): Hold [VR Camera 1].
Out Run music
Enter ” O.R ” as your initials at the high score screen to hear music from Out Run .
Space Harrier music
Enter ” S.H ” as your initials at the high score screen to hear music from Space Harrier .
View credits
Finish a race in first place, then press Start(2) during the victory lap celebration to view the credits.
Classic “Sega” voice introduction
Immediately after the game is launched, hold A to hear the classic “Sega” voice introduction.
Bonus Gamerpics
At the main menu, select the “Extra” option, then choose the “Challenge” selection. Successfully complete all the challenges from Basic, Advanced, and Expert to unlock two Gamerpics.
Achievements
Accomplish the indicated achievement to get the corresponding number of Gamerscore points:
- First Place BEGINNER (10 points): Win a BEGINNER Course in ARCADE Mode (any difficulty level is ok).
- First Place ADVANCED (10 points): Win an ADVANCED Course in ARCADE Mode (any difficulty level is ok).
- First Place EXPERT (10 points): Win an EXPERT Course in ARCADE Mode (any difficulty level is ok).
- Slot Machine (15 points): On a BEGINNER Course of ARCADE Mode press “Special” in front of the Slots to stop the 3 reels.
- YOU JUST LOST YOUR… (15 points): Find the hidden sign at the dead end in ADVANCED Course of ARCADE MODE.
- Flipmode (15 points): On an EXPERT Course of ARCADE Mode, upend the Jeffry statue by repeatedly pressing “Special”.
- Repair HORNET (20 points): Repair damage in the Pit during Arcade Mode.
- Rank In (15 points): Upload your record to the Time Trial Mode leaderboard.
- Challenge Clear (20 points): Clear a challenge in CHALLENGE Mode.
- Survive: 5000 (20 points): Log over 5,000 in SURVIVAL Mode.
- Karaoke Racer! (30 points): Play KARAOKE Mode until the end.
- 100 hits (20 points): Hit the sign or road cone 100 times (number of hits is the cumulative total).
